University Tuition Payment Plan:

   Installment Payment Plan   Whether you can pay in full or need help, you may wish to consider paying all or part of your education expenses monthly on the Interest-Free Monthly Payment Plan offered by Tuition Management Systems.  The payment plan is available for an annual enrollment fee and includes Life Insurance coverage for the bill payer, personal account service and counseling, automated account information 24 hours a day, access to your account through their web site, Tuition Management Systems .  Visit the Tuition Management Systems web site for more information on payment options, free education payment counseling and the many ways they can help you afford education.  You can also call them toll free at 1-800-722-4867.

   E-Payment and Credit Card Options   Due to the significant cost, the University does not accept credit cards for tuition and major fees but you can utilize our partners at Tuition Management Systems.  If you would like to pay in full, or for an incidental expense on a one time basis, and wish to use a credit card, please follow this link for more information:  Tuition Management Systems Paid In Full

Form 1098-T Tuition Payments Statement 

  • You, or the person who may claim you as a dependent, may be able to take either the tuition and fees deduction or claim a Hope and/or Lifetime Learning credit on your federal tax return for qualified tuition and related expenses that were actually paid in a given year
  • For more information about the deduction or credits, see IRS Publication 970 
  • If you did not receive a 1098-T and believe you qualify to receive one from W&L,  please contact the Business Office at 540-458-8730.
  • Please refer to your tax accountant for specific tax questions.  General questions related to the information supplied on your 1098-T statement may be addressed to the Business Office at 540-458-8730.
